A short story
Nessebar, once known as Mesembria, is a city on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with a rich history. Founded by Greek colonists in the 6th century BC, it flourished as a trading center for centuries under the rule of the Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Bulgarian empires.
Nessebar is a real treasure trove, where everyone will find something interesting for themselves: from lovers of history and culture to those who want to relax on the beach.
How to get there
We traveled from Kyiv through the Odesa region, crossed the border with Romania via the Orlovka ferry crossing – Isaac. Stopped in Izmail and settled in the hotel Dream Hotel, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. There is a car wash near the hotel, where you can restore your car after a long journey. If you do not plan to stay in Ukraine and want to cross the border immediately, after passing through customs, you can spend the night at Pensiunea Dunarea Isaccea is a popular transit point among travelers.

The apartments we took out were near Burgas, from Burgas itself to Nessebar is about 30 km, which can be covered in 30-40 minutes. You can choose any place on the seashore and go on an excursion either to Nessebar or Burgas, depending on your location.

Old Town Nessebar (Old Town Nessebar)

Stone fountain (Каменна чешма)
