Find hotel in Krakow was not an easy task, considering that it was the New Year holidays, unfortunately, there was already a small selection of free hotels and high prices. Usually, the main criteria for a hotel is its location, preferably in the city center, or nearby, a public transport stop. Well, one more criterion appeared in the process, since we came to Krakow by train, by the way, you can see our post “How to get from Kyiv to Krakow by train“, then they also chose a hotel that was easy to get to , preferably on foot.
Usually we don’t stay in hostels, but we had no choice, and there are hostels that have separate rooms, although shared bathrooms and kitchens. Taking into account the above, a hostel in the city center just turned away and which could be reached on foot without any problems, is Green Cat Rooms.

Location
Green Cat Rooms Hostel is located in the Old Town, 1.1 km from Krakow Central Railway Station. All the main sights of Krakow are within walking distance, just 400 meters from the Cloth Hall and 600 meters from the Town Hall Tower. The Florian’s Gate is approximately 1.3 km away, the National Museum of Krakow is 1.1 km away, and the Galeria Krakowska Shopping Center is 3.5 km away. The Market Square, the Church of the Virgin Mary and the Alley of Lost Souls attraction are located not far from the Green Cat Rooms hostel.
The distance to the nearest International Airport Kraków-Balice named after John Paul II is 16 km.
Number
The rooms are not big, but this is a hostel, but everything is necessary. In our case, three beds, a wardrobe, a clean and simple room, suitable for an overnight stay. The windows faced the yard. Bathrooms for public use, I don’t want to say that they were perfect, but you can use them, there were no inconveniences with the load of bathrooms, I never crossed paths with someone who had to wait. Wireless Internet access is provided in all hotel rooms free of charge.
Breakfast
Separate kitchen for common use. The kitchen has places to eat or drink coffee. There was a refrigerator, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, sugar, coffee, tea, if you don’t have your own, you can use it. But there are many different cafes nearby where you can have breakfast. Parking
Unfortunately, there is no parking, especially given the location of the hostel.
