Casimir castle

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
The Greek-Catholic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, formerly known as the Jesuit Church, is one of the most prominent religious buildings in Przemyśl. Basilica of the Ascension of the Virgin and St. John the Baptist
It is the main church of the Przemyśl Archdiocese. References to the temple go back to 1375-1412, when there was a wooden church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul on this place. The construction of the current cathedral in the Gothic style began in 1495, but due to destruction, it was rebuilt and restored only in 1571. In view of the constant threat of Tatar and Italian attacks on Subcarpathia, the church was fortified with walls and equipped with cannons. Church and Monastery of Saint Mary Magdalene
The Franciscan Church is one of the most famous historical buildings in Przemyśl. Officially known as the Church and Monastery of Saint Mary Magdalene. In 1672, on the site of the modern church built in 1641, there was a wooden church together with a monastery of Franciscan-reformers. The temple is decorated with frescoes by the famous artist Stanislav Stroinsky.

Przemyśl City History Museum
The Museum of the History of the City of Przemyśl is located in an old tenement house dating back to the 16th century and located on Rynok Square. This square is also known as Brzykowska (Brzykowska) because of the surname of the first owners. The stone house, where the museum is located, is a historical monument in itself, because it has a rich history dating back more than half a millennium.

Przemysl-Holovny railway station

Lyubomirski Park
The first documentary references to Bankonchitsi date back to the 14th century, when a Hungarian elder decided to create a menagerie here. In 1885, a Kraków architect, on the orders of Prince Hieronymus Adam Lubomirski, began construction of a palace in the village, completing it in 1887, although some parts remained unfinished. The palace was surrounded by a 7-hectare park with a large lake and an island. A horse stable and a brewery were also located nearby.

Arboretum Bolestrachyce
Founded in 1975, it is located in the northeast of Przemyśl, at a distance of 7 kilometers. This is an outstanding natural and cultural monument, where history and modernity are combined. The area attracts with its rich history and magnificent estates, where the outstanding artist Pyotr Michalowski worked in the middle of the 19th century. The arboretum includes a 19th-century fort of the former Przemyśl fortress.
